90% it won’t show you any profiles you are looking for, if you pay more money then you might get a chance to look. It’s just a blue collar scam. Even their employee admitted that if we show all profiles in a same day what you are going to do for the rest of your subscription time lol.

Beware of the Shaadi agents upselling you and by sending fake profiles just to get the VIP package and convince you in reaching to those profiles which are fake.

Unable to reply to even premium users if you are not paid member.

Fake accounts and while doing payment they say refund if not satisfied and don't find a match. However when requesting refund it says not eligible. Big scammer.

Lot of fake profiles and if you report they close the ticket immediately without investigating

The worst app. I want to delete my profile and it won’t. They don’t have any idea how to fix it

There was a time when Shaadi.com was a useful app. Those days are gone. 90% of the profiles are fake and you can’t talk or send messages to anyone without paying $100+ now. Unlimited greed. And to top it all off, you cannot delete your profile. They require an OTP verification and that system isn’t working either. I had to spend 20 mins with a low IQ agent to manually get them to delete my profile. Good riddance!!

They don’t refund nothing don’t buy their subscription

After you sign up they start calling you to buy a vip Shaddi membership once you buy that membership they send you the profile after you accept the profile they act like they working but no one is working for you and after that they say we have a this offer going on if you renew your membership so don’t buy the vip shaddi membership they take your money

Most of the profiles are fake. Nice photo profiles are all fake. They all respond until you purchase premium membership and then for some reason they stop responding. If you somehow find a genuine profile, they get blocked. If you contact customer support, they ask you to wait 48 hours. Waste of time and effort.

Iphone shaadi app experience very bad

I had a poor experience because there are too many spam profiles being used to steal personal information and photos. There is a strict need to validate a profile before it goes live.

Like the tool and its functionality.. Very well structured and easy to use.. You get all the information in one single layout so you don’t have to keep switching tabs.. They have enhanced security and i happen to test it by accidentally creating another account where the system caught it immediately and blocked both the accounts. So, definetly they’re safe and trying to minimize fakes.. They don’t force you to buy their subscription, it’s completely up-to you, based on your need you can choose the plan that works best for you (including their VIP)..

It seems this app is designed to keep people single. There is no effective communication even if you’re are PAID MEMBER. There are so many FILTERS. If you send an interest to someone, most likely it will go in their FILTERED INTERESTS because there are many filter options and getting 100% match is a challenge. People don’t even get a NOTIFICATION that there are filtered interests pending . Such features make communication hard with potential partners.

Not user friendly. Hard to take control of the cursor, particularly when it needs to be brought back to a place in a sentence.

This website has serious issues with customer data security. Fake accounts are rampant, and they don’t seem to take any meaningful steps to protect users’ information. Failure to handle fake profiles is essentially encouraging them. Worse, it feels like they’re profiting unethically, possibly by creating fake profiles themselves. I’m shocked that such practices are allowed to continue in the U.S. Stay away and protect your data

They will literally scam you by placing unnecessary rules after your payment is done.

Are you guys creating fake profiles and showing it every day to increase app engagement? It’s pathetic.

Takes the money which serves no use

Made the mistake of purchasing premium. The app decides to send invites and reject invites for me. I haven’t used the app in a day, came back to see I’ve sent requests to people I’ve never seen, rejected invites that I get, matches that show one second will disappear the next. Matches close to me never show. I have to go into messages and check the deleted section to see all the invites I apparently ‘declined’. Then if I accept the invites, nobody responds back because I’m sure nobody likes to be rejected and then accepted. Horrible, wish I never spent the money.

This is a scam in a number of ways, some of which may be illegal too. First, the payment is taken way before any verification is done and you can be denied service at the verification stage or require recertification a number of times. Second, they push fake profiles to get you engaged but repeat them just to artificially generate traffic. Third, they sign you up for events and higher paid services without any consent. The company is probably the bigger scam and app is just a symptom here.

I took vip shadi membership twice and both the times wasn’t even able to speak to one person. Waste of money for me. Wouldn’t recommend since my vip shadi profile wasn’t handle very well despite of following up and responding immediately I had no meeting or phone call with any potential matches. This is because the profile that they sent you as party of vip shadi may not necessarily be premium so they may not respond due to volume of requests. Didn’t benefit me any way

Horrendous interface. Over complicated and numerous useless sections that try to divide potential matches for no reason. When in reality you’re thrown into a cesspool of people that make you feel gross and insignificant. I felt more valued using tinder which should not be the standard for acceptable dating apps. The worst part is the premium feature only hurts you. There are profiles that can only be seen if you’re a premium member. Why? If I was paying for the app I want EVERYONE to see me. Being a premium member only decreases your dating pool. This app only works if you live in India. I live in one of the biggest cities in the US with a high Indian population but only had 25 matches (half of which can’t be seen because of premium membership) this app feel like a greedy money making scheme. I have better odds finding Indian women on tinder.

The app is real and it does work. Met loads of ppl and currently seeing someone from it. Had a chat glitch which would crash the app but reinstalling it fixed it. Definitely the real deal!

You can make a profile but cannot text a single person w/o premium membership. Scam!!!! Don’t download it. Don’t waste your time if you want something genuine. Most profiles are fake. There are no good profiles either. They are just making money. Its expensive and they won’t refund if it doesn’t workout

Whenever I Click on Chat option in the app, the app is force closed.

I created a profile for my sister and decided to get paid membership as soon I paid for the membership it ask for photo ID and blocked my account. Since then I’m unable to retrieve my account as OTP was never received on registered number. And who in the world give ID on matrimonial sites??? Do NOT waste your time and money!!!

You cannot message a single person without paying for membership. This is not the app you want. Use Jeevansathi instead.

Maybe the name came from SHADOWY, because this App us weird. Out of a sudden, they blocked my account. Tried to contact them many times to understand what happened, no response back AT ALL. Waste of time

Paid a hefty amount for the premium membership, thinking it would be worth it, and now I’m getting DAILY calls from customer service pestering me to upgrade to VIP. Seriously?

Fake profiles.

I’ve had a disappointing experience with the Shaadi app. It seems like the app owners themselves add numerous fake profiles, often using pictures of beautiful girls taken from the internet to attract users. On top of that, they charge significantly more in U.S. dollars for premium accounts, which feels like an unfair pricing strategy. I personally reported many fake profiles, but the issue persists. I’d advise others to proceed with caution and thoroughly verify profiles before getting too invested.

Do not use this app.

Poor UI, criteria doesn’t work (ie, shows mostly Indians in India when it’s turned off), and dozens of calls and WhatsApp’s from different numbers from matchmakers.

There are very limited qualified individuals for folks above 50 so not a great site for folks 50 plus.

Hey, Do not buy the subscriptions from this application, i paid 324$ for year you will only get same profiles over and over and the ads keeps saying they will refund if we dont like the paid version in a month, i tried reaching for refund multiple times but they only respond with change the settings and filters, which is abrupt and most of the profiles are fake and do not pictures. All you can do in this app is to pay the money and just recieve few calls to pay more money for better profiles and watching the same profiles over and over, i do not recommend this app. You will see profiles which are good only until they make you pay. I want my refund back.

Don’t waste your money

The app doesn’t work. I deleted and reinstalled and I can’t login on the app. Only the website

I just got this account a few days ago; my friend helped make it. I did some minor updates such as a photo and added more to my bio today. They just randomly decided to deactivate my account on no reasoning saying I had no matches. Which was a lie because I actually had hundreds and was sorting through them! What even is this app? How terribly run.

Have been using it for long now and good matches are rare to find.

As a new member registration and identity verification went smoothly. A good thing is your personality traits get matched and you can see on how many attributes you match. For any communication beyond chat you need to upgrade. You get text alerts if you have opted in.

I have purchased the premium subscription of shaadi.com couple of months back and I realised how it is stuffed with non serious individual and fake profiles that just accept the connect and disappear post that. Talking to support team, didn’t receive any assistance which is disheartening over the top. I would certainly not recommend for anyone to take subscription of this app and instead try some other reasonable options.

The site crashes often! Also won’t let you update simple things!!

Didn’t even give it a reason why my account was deactivated. I just created it just today. And anyone in the future, please don’t get this app.

The app crashes too. Too many fake profiles, saw the same profile multiple times. Disappointing.
